Vitellius

Vitellius Roman Emperor in 69 A.D. after defeating Otho and deposing him after a 3 month reign on April 19th, the third man to be emperor that year. Was himself short lived as Vespian was proclaimed emperor by his troops on July 1st. His followers defeated the forces of Vitellius in the second battle of Bedriacum. The fighting moved to Rome with street to street battles and a fire that engulfed the city. Vitellius was slain on December 20th.
