Vladimir Tolokonnikov

Vladimir Tolokonnikov is famous Kazakh actor who first found his fame in film based on satirical novel Heart of a Dog by Mikhail Bulgakov made in 1988. In the film (which was once voted one of the 10 best films of 20th century), Tolokinnikov gave a wondrous performance as a dog called Sharik who is transformed into man named Sharikov in futuristic mad science experiment. The film was released in over 32 countries. Until this day people still point at him and say "There goes Sharikov"!

Tolokonnikov won the illustrious State Prize of Russia for his acting and has also been recognized in his glorious homeland with the title of Honored Artist of Kazakhstan.
