White Guilt is a feeling of guilt felt by some liberal white people because of mistreatment of non-white groups that took place in the past.[1][2] It is also usually associated with belief in white privilege and SJWs. White guilt is not as widespread as some might think.[3] White guilt may be felt by people who are descended from former slave owners and feel responsible for the wrongdoings of their forefathers.[4] When liberal Rachel Dolezal pretending to be African American was found out to be white, she was equally condemned by both sides. And white guilt was seen in negative light.[5]
