World War Z is a zombie-apocalypse novel by Max Brooks.

The viewpoint of the novel changes over forty times, with a variety of survivors telling their stories. They range from a feral girl who was abandoned by her parents, to a crewman on a Chinese nuclear submarine, to a British man who fought the zombies at Buckingham Palace.
