Hey, my name's Mike Zoeller, and I'm a seventeen year-old junior student at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, New Jersey. I joined Conservapedia on the 28th of August, 2007, after being a regular user for a couple months after my "conversion to conservatism". Now, what does that mean, you ask? Well, my parents are both registered Democrats, and so I was raised rooting for Al Gore and John Kerry in the 2000 and 2004 Presidential Elections respectively, and for the Democrats in general during the 2006 Midterm Elections. But, recently, reading the book "Imperial Life in the Emerald City" by Rajiv Chandrasekaran (oddly, that's not a Conservative book at all!) in the last month of my sophomore school year made me really think about what it means to be an American. I chose to convert to conservatism, and I thank God for converting me now so that I can register Republican as soon as I turn eighteen.
