The 1992 Los Angeles riots took place mainly in south-central LA after the acquittal of some of the police officers involved in the Rodney King incident.

The most famous single incident from the riots was the assault of Reginald Denny, a white construction worker, by black rioters. The beating resulted in permanent injury for Denny.
