Alfred Mossman "Alf" Landon (1887-1987) was governor of Kansas (1933-1937) and the Republican candidate for president of the United States in 1936.

His daughter, Nancy Landon Kassebaum, was a United States Senator from Kansas. Elected to the U.S. Senate in 1978, she was re-elected in 1984 and 1990.
