The Arab-Israeli conflict (Arabic "الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي", Hebrew "הסכסוך הישראלי ערבי") is a term used to refer to the recurring conflict between the citizens of Israel and the Arab states of the Middle East (notably Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon). Many wars have been fought between the State of Israel and other Arab nations in the region.
