This is an old revision of this page, as edited by DeanS (Talk | contribs) at 12:53, March 5, 2009. It may differ significantly from current revision.

Chandra Levy (Cleveland, 1977 – Washington, 2001) was a former U.S. government intern who mysteriously disappeared on May 1, 2001. The remains of Levy appeared on May 22, 2002 in a wooded area in Washington's Rock Creek Park. Gary Condit, a former Democratic congressman from California came under scrutiny amid the media storm that followed Levy's disappearance.

The killing of 24-year-old Chandra Levy had been one of the U.S. capital's most sensational unsolved crimes. At first, it received worldwide attention, but interest faded after the September 11, 2001, attacks and after it became a cold case. [1]

Ingmar Guandique, 27, an immigrant who is in prison is suspect of the murder.
