Rep. Dan Lungren

The Honorable Daniel Edward Lungren, M.C., born September 22, 1946 (age 71), represented California's 3rd congressional district in the House of Representatives from 2005 to 2013. He has also served as Attorney General of California before being elected to Congress, during which he presided over the crackdown of medicinal use of marijuana.[1] Lungren also represented the 42nd congressional district from 1983 to 1989 and the 34th district from 1979 to 1983.

Lungren lost his bid to represent the 7th congressional district in the November 2012 election to Democrat Ami Bera by a margin of 5700 votes – 51.1% to 48.9%.[2]
