Frank Daniel Mongiardo (born July 4, 1960 in Hazard, Kentucky) currently serves as Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky and was previously a member of the Kentucky State Senate. He is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in the 2010 election, after losing to incumbent Republican Jim Bunning by a narrow margin.
