Darwin’s Dangerous Idea is a book that hightlights the social effects of Darwinism. It is written by Daniel Dennett.

The book's author describes Darwinism as a “universal acid; it eats through just about every traditional concept and leaves in its wake a revolutionized world-view.”[1]
