Doris Okada Matsui (born September 25, 1944 in Poston, Arizona) currently serves as the Democratic U.S. Representative from California's 6th congressional district. She previously represented California's 5th district, having been elected in a 2005 special election to replace her late husband Bob Matsui, who had represented the district for twenty-six years. She is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.
