Drinking Liberally is a socialist and liberal "drinking club". Today there are many "chapters" of the club, which meet on a regular basis to discuss political strategy in an unregulated environment. One of the advantages of the organization for liberal politicians is that no records are kept of discussion so that various "dirty tricks" may be planned without fear of reprisal or investigation. Jon Corzine and Ned Lamont were both known to regularly visit their local "chapters" of the organization.
