An Economist is a professional or specialist in economics.

The Economist is a British weekly newspaper focusing on international politics and business news and opinion. It was established in 1843.

Famous economist were Adam Smith, Jeremy Bentham, Robert Malthus, David Ricardo, John Stuart Mill, John Maynard Keynes, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, and Paul Samuelson.
