Alexander Hamilton

Federalist No. 59, authored by Alexander Hamilton under the pen name Publius, is the fifty ninth of 85 essays. Titled "Concerning the Power of Congress to Regulate the Election of Members", Hamilton writes about Article I Section 4 of the Constitution, The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives.

It was published on February 22, 1788.
