Francis Arinze

Cardinal Francis Arinze (b.1932) is a conservative leader in the Catholic Church, and a favorite to become the next Pope. An Igbo Nigerian, Cardinal Arinze was once the world's youngest bishop.

Cardinal Arinze has been an outspoken critic of homosexuality, comparing it to adultery and other sins.

His credentials include spending 25 years in the Vatican, enabling him to earn the respect of many other Cardinals.
