Freddie Mac is the common name for the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC), "a corporation authorized by Congress to provide a secondary market for residential mortgages." [1] Freddie Mac is a company bailed out by the US Government, along with Fannie Mae


The top three recipients of campaign contributions from Freddie Mac over the last two decades were all Democrats. [2]
