Gilbert Baker (born September 5, 1956) has served as a member of the Arkansas State Senate since 2001. He ranks third in seniority and serves as Co-Chair of the Joint Budget Committee and Vice Chair of the State Agencies and Governmental Affairs. Baker was a candidate for the Republican nomination to useat Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln, but was defeated in the Republican primary.
