Hugo Sánchez Márquez (b. Mexico City 1958), is a Mexican former football soccer star. He has played for four European clubs, including Real Madrid. As a member of the Mexico national team, he participated in three World Cups. He was the head coach of the Mexican national team from february 2007 to april 2008. With UD Almería, from the spanish first division, was his last work as the head couch until 2009.
