These are two neighborhoods on the Southside of Chicago. Hyde Park is home to the Museum of Science and Industry, the Robie House, and the University of Chicago. Kenwood is home to the city's first public library and first synagogue. Famous residents of the Hyde Park-Kenwood neighborhoods past and present include teenaged kidnapper-murderers Leopold and Loeb, William Ayers and Barack Obama.
