Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Republican, is the United States Representative for Florida's 27th congressional district. She was first elected to the House in a special election in August 1989 to replace deceased Rep. Claude Pepper, representing the 18th district.

Previously, Ros-Lehtinen was a member of the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives.
