Islamic fundamentalism is a radical movement within Islam that seeks to violently advance certain political and religious goals. It is the ideological basis for much of the terrorism occurring in the Middle East and elsewhere.

Since Barack Hussein Obama was elected president, many in the United States fear that Islamic fundamentalism could take root and even spread on American soil.
