JN-25 was the Japanese military naval code prior to and during World War II. The Americans and British broke (deciphered) this code months before the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The Americans intercepted 26,581 JN-25 from September 1 to December 7, 1941, and they are apparently available for public review at the National Archives.

Later the Japanese upgraded its code to the JN-25B, which was also broken by the Allies.
