Liberal Party is the name of some political parties in a number of countries:

Liberal Party of Australia a pro-business conservative party in that country

Liberal Party a pro-business party in Hong Kong

Liberal Party This party evolved from the Whig Party in the United Kingdom. The majority of members went on to merge with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to form the Liberal Democrats in 1988. A minority of members maintained the Liberal Party name and formed a new party because they felt that the Liberal Democrats had lost the ideals of the original party.
