Louisiana Tech University is a Louisiana public university founded in 1894.[2] It was ranked a fourth tier school in US News's 2008 "National Universities: Tier 4" list.[3] In 2008 is had a 23:1 student-faculty ratio.[2]

Athletics

The women's basketball team has won 2 national championships.[4]
