Lynne Cheney is the wife of U.S. vice president Dick Cheney. She has published several books. She has two daughters, Elizabeth and Mary.


Lynne Cheney served on Lockheed Corporation's board of directors from 1994 to 2001, a $120,000 per year post which she gave up shortly before her husband's inauguration[1]. She served on the board's Finance, and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees[2].

She is the author of the novel Sisters.
