Mildred Fay Jefferson, M.D. (born 1926 — October 15, 2010) was an American physician and pro-life activist. She was the first African-American woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School and the first female surgical intern at Boston City Hospital. She was a board member and former three-term president of the National Right to Life Committee. [1]
