The New King James Version (NKJV) is a revision of the King James Version, first published by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 1975.[1]

The main difference between the KJV and the NKJV is that the NKJV has modernized English words and spellings. Otherwise, all syntax remains the same.

The NKJV is the translation used by the Home School Legal Defense Association in its magazine, The Home School Court Report.
