The term New World can refer to a number of different things:

1. The term used for the Western Hemisphere when it was discovered by Columbus and the other explorers, as opposed to the "Old World", i.e. Europe.

2. A type of monkey[1].

3. The popular title of Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" by Czech composer Antonin Dvořák.
