Scott Rasmussen is an independent pollster known for his highly accurate predictions of elections and his daily tracking polls. He was the first to predict that Scott Brown might win the Senate seat long held by the late liberal Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts.

A resident of New Jersey, Scott Rasmussen is unfairly criticized for liberals for reporting low approval ratings about President Barack Obama.[1]
