Sports Cars are vehicles designed for performance and the track. The range from tiny anemic British runabouts like Lotuses to full fledged Americans world beaters like the Ford GT. The first sports cars were made in the 1900s shortly after the invention of the automobile. It didn't take long for two people to decide to find out who's car was the fastes. Over the last 100 years they have evolved into a huge number of varieties. Environmentalists and politicians often try outlaw high performance automobiles. While they have sometimes been successful in castrating the power of sports cars, people have the right to drive the vehicle of their choice and this wont change as long as this country is a democracy.
