Tabasco sauce is a red hot sauce made from a special variety of red chile peppers by the McIlhenny Company of Avery Island, Louisiana. It is one of the most popular hot sauces in the world.

There many varieties, aside from the classic red, including jalapeno, habanero, Tabasco-flavored steak sauce, and even Tabasco-flavored soy sauce.
