I agree with TK - this is a truly outstanding series of articles. Keep up the quality work! --Economist 14:37, 24 May 2009 (EDT)

Out-of-date

The portion of the article pertaining to the recent film adaptation is out of date (it talks about the movie coming out; it has been out now for two weeks). Not sure if it's pertinent to include reactions/reviews, etc., but at least updating the article to reflect recent events may be helpful. --MarkN85 13:28, 25 April 2011 (EDT)

Although I am firmly against communism/socialism and for capitalism and don't agree with the beliefs of everyone this article cites http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2011-06-03-Ayn_Rand_GOP_values_02_ST_N.htm , I do agree with the sentiments of Chuck Colson which are cited. I have never read "Atlas Shrugged" and it may contain some thoughts I may agree with, but I did see an interview of the atheist Ayn Rand and I cannot say that I was impressed. I think Colson was spot on. At the same time, I do think there is some truth to this Adam Smith quote: "It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest." Of course, if more people did their work for the glory of God, Smith's observation would be less meaningful. conservative 11:57, 6 June 2011 (EDT)
