Can we list Jamie Gorelick as an example of having a conflict of interest? A major theme of the 9/11 Commission was the "wall" between FBI and the intelligence agencies - which she helped set up - and the role that wall had in obstructing attempts to prevent terrorist attacks like 9/11.

When an FBI agent tried to get a warrant to look at a flight student's laptop, she was threatened was dismissal. A policy supposedly meant to protect the legal rights of the innocent had the actual effect of letting 3 or 4 thousand people be murdered. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. --Ed Poor Talk 22:43, 12 March 2008 (EDT)

If some citations other than opinion pages could be mustered, perhaps that'd be proper, eh?-PhoenixWright 22:47, 12 March 2008 (EDT)
