As a comment on what contracts can and can't do, isn't there a term for the legal concept that no party can actually force behavior? Say I contract to mow lawns for an apartment complex for the summer. If I choose not to mow the lawns, breaking the contract, isn't it true thateven though I can be sued for the cost of the service and all that, I can't be compelled to mow the lawns? I was wondering what the term for that was and how it applies to contracts. --Todd 00:03, 25 August 2007 (EDT)
