Deuteronomy 23:17

We know that the Hebrew קָדֵשׁ refers to a male homosexual; the liberal translation as "male shrine prostitute" is untenable. Doesn't it follow that the feminine, קְדֵשָׁה, refers to a lesbian? That would certainly put the kibosh on the liberal notion that the OT doesn't condemn lesbianism. DavidE 10:11, 13 May 2011 (EDT)
