Greek at 8th century B.C. is the earliest literary language?  How about Hebrew?  Perhaps a definition of literary language (and an explanation of why that is the earliest) would be a needed addition.  I also put back in information that was removed on moods and voices without comment.  If it's in error please remove it with a comment in the talk as to why it is being removed, but if it was accurate, then it appeared to have a place in the article. Greek at 8th century B.C. is the earliest literary language? How about Hebrew? Perhaps a definition of literary language (and an explanation of why that is the earliest) would be a needed addition. I also put back in information that was removed on moods and voices without comment.
