Talk:Laura Bush

Return to "Laura Bush" page.

Listen, I am no fan of President Bush, and know little of the First Lady. Now, while the bit about her car accident many years ago is, I believe, true, it should hardly rate 25% of her bio. Come on, conservatives, give a little more to one who, like Hillary, stands by her man.

I agree with the above comment. We should either add more info or not devote that much of the article to that. DanH 10:48, 18 July 2007 (EDT)

Although Mrs. Bush has historically blamed for the accident, recent scholarship has suggested that there may have been little she could do to avoid it. Douglas was driving a first generation Chevrolet Corvair, notorious for its unpredictable handling at high speeds. The possibility that Douglas lost control of the vehicle can not be discounted.

This statement is totally unsourced and I question the factual accuracy (what scholarship, and what evidence says Douglas lost control?) --Snotbowst 19:42, 15 May 2008 (EDT)

This woman has accomplished a lot more in her life than just the trolling edit placed by Bush haters back in 2008. Something should be done here about that. RobSGive Peace a Chance! 17:17, September 16, 2023 (EDT)
