In my personal opinion, anyone who loves Arabic language should give up any use of "jihad" when speaking of submission. And they should use the term "holy war" when speaking of military campaigns which are regarded as having Allah's blessing.

Likewise, as a Unificationist I avoid the word "cult". If someone means "fake religion" (like the People's Temple of Jim Jones) he should say so. Or just say that you don't believe in that religion. --Ed Poor Talk 09:58, 14 November 2008 (EST)
