Ted Kulongoski

Ted Kulongoski (b. 1940) is a retired Oregon politician. He served as Oregon's 36th governor (2003-2011), a state Supreme Court justice (1997-2001), state Attorney General (1993-1997), and state Insurance Commissioner (1987-1992). Kulongoski also served in the Oregon House of Representatives (1974-1978) and in the Oregon Senate (1978-1987). He is a life-long Democrat. Kulongoski served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He is a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
