The Lorax is a book by Dr. Seuss, published first in 1979. It follows the plight of the environment, and of the lorax, who are attempting to resist the greed of the Once-ler, a personification of corporate selfishness. It is considered a fable, warning of the dangers that unrestrained corporate greed can have on the earth.
