The Urim and Thummim were objects used by the Israelites to reveal the will of God. Most historical accounts indicate they were gemstones attached to the vestments of the High Priest of the Israelites.[1]. The precise nature of the objects is unknown, but most Biblical scholars believe they were gemstones or jewels.[2]
