I am a relatively-new user to Conservapedia, nice to meet you all :)

About Me

I'm a fine arts major at a small Methodist college, loving the opportunity to use my voice and music to praise the Lord.

I am a fundamentally rational person, and lack the conviction and emotional strength to sustain passionate and full Belief in God the Almighty, but He laid out in the Bible that "[T]he sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." (Rev20:13 KJV)

I am, I admit, too weak a man to set aside my misgivings and accept the Christ as my saviour, but I pray that through my efforts, however small they may be, I might stand before God on the day of judgement and hear from Him "Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter unto the joy of the Lord."

My goals on this wikispace

I hope to give ideologically-neutral contributions to the religious articles on this wiki. I disagree with many of the political viewpoints espoused here, but am not a fan of conflict and will thus respectfully decline to edit them. I will likewise not be editing the pages on Homosexuality and related topics, despite their religious bent, because I do not wish to drag my views on homosexuality into a mainspace article.

I have found the Conservative Bible Project as an external link on the web, and having looked through the stated goals I am not going to touch it with a thirty-foot pole. I think it an admirable endeavor to attempt to correct ideological alterations in the Holy Word, but the inherently-ideological bent of the project repels me. Were the project dedicated to removing all introduced bias and giving a truly-accurate translation, I would be your most ardent supporter. Still, despite my personal objections your goals are to be striven towards with all haste and I wish you the best of luck. :)

Clarification

I am not homosexual, but I sympathize with their struggles for equality and fair treatment. I do my level best at all times to treat all people equally until they clearly telegraph by their words or actions that they wish to act in a manner less than human.

I recognize that this will offend some people who take a more hardline and intolerant approach to those different from themselves. I will keep an open and tolerant mind towards your prejudices, and hope you will return the favour. :)
