Templates

Iduan, I was contemplating creating some templates to apply to some of the chemistry articles in the (distant) future. Do you make them using HTML or is there wiki markup? Is there some where I can learn the markup? I'm generally good with this sort of stuff so you don't have to baby me or anything, I'm just not really sure where to look. Thanks HelpJazz 16:33, 5 October 2007 (EDT) PS: I'm "otherwise requesting" that you respond here. Thanks ;-)

I use wiki markup - I think the best place to learn is probably the various pages on Wikipedia (ironic that our greatest rival is actually teaching us to make templates) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Template is the page I used - but one problem is the writing is especially complex, even today I do not completely understand it - but do try and read that, and also look around at templates - really the best way to learn is to just see templates in action - however reading that link will provide the foundation for you to do so.--IDuan 23:44, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
Awesome, thanks. Looks like I have some light reading to do! HelpJazz 23:47, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
