A.P. Hill

Ambrose Powell Hill, Jr. (November 9, 1825 – April 2, 1865), was a career U.S. Army officer in the Mexican–American War and Seminole Wars. He also served as a Confederate general in the American Civil War.

Fort A.P. Hill a military base located near Bowling Green, Virginia is named in his memory.
