Dwight L. Moody

Dwight Lyman Moody (1837–1899) was a Christian evangelist who led the conversion of thousands of men in Dublin, Ireland, and worked for the troops in the American Civil War.

He founded the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 1886. He was associated with the hymn writers Ira David Sankey and George Stebbins.
