An illogical and errant atheist wrote on his user page: "Dear gentlemen at the other wiki, I frankly find your conservative comments are extremely illogical. And regarding Young Earth Creationism and the War on Facts, you delete and recreate pages to cover up that not all great cultures throughout history have been religous; I mean, look at Sweden, Norway, and the UK!".

Sweden, Norway and the UK all have national churches! And they all are benefiting from a Protestant cultural legacy (See: Protestant cultural legacies). France is paying for the upkeep of various French churches.[1] Last time I checked Western atheists, Westerners don't have to subsidize atheist organizations by paying for their buildings and other expenses! And to make things worse, atheist organization are terribly broke! See: Atheist organizations and fundraising. Oh militant atheists, feel the sting!

In December 2018, The Times indicated: "The number of atheists in Britain has fallen in the past year, according to a survey suggesting that more people are attending church, albeit irregularly."[2]

And let's not forget that militant, British atheists need to brace themselves for the might wave of desecularization that is coming (See: Attention British, militant atheists! Brace yourself for the mighty, religious wave that is coming).

Weep and wail disciples of Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens! God has weighed atheism and agnosticism on the scale and found them wanting! The only thing falling faster than the godless population of Europe is the godless population of China! See: Atheism and fertility rates and Decline of Europe and Acceleration of 21st century desecularization. Meanwhile, the godly are being fruitful and multiplying around the world! Wikipedia, a wiki founded by an atheist and agnostic, has an article titled Growth of religion.

In 2010, Professor Eric Kaufmann reported that the rate of secularisation flattened to zero in most of Protestant Europe and France.[3] And Europe is expected to experience a peak secular population starting in 2050 or sooner and then see a rising religious population in terms of its percentage of the population (See: European desecularization in the 21st century).

Europe, which is less religious than a majority of the world, has a subreplacement level of births, is projected to have a population that is 30% less smaller by the end of the century (see: Atheism and fertility rates).[4]

In 2014, the Pew Research Forum indicated that Europe will go from 11% of the world's population to 7% of the world's population by 2050.[5]
Austria's census data permits demographers to perform analysis which indicates the secular population plateauing in Europe by 2050, or as early as 2021.[6]

Johns Hopkins University Press reported in 2014: "Over the past forty years, creationism has spread swiftly among European Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Hindus, and Muslims, even as anti-creationists sought to smother its flames."[7]

According to Forbes magazine, as far as the fertility rate of China: "...the Total Fertility Rate (births per woman) dropped in 2021 to just 1.15, far below the 2.1 required for a stable population."[8] In 2022, the historian Niall Ferguson indicated that China's population is projected to drop by 50-75% by the end of the century.[9]

According to Slate, "Protestant Christianity has been the fastest growing religion in China."[10] Evangelical Christianity is especially growing sharply in China.[11]

To see the magnitude of the explosive growth of Christianity in China, examine this graph about the growth of Christianity in China in a DW news story about Chinese Christianity (DW is a mainstream news outlet in Germany). There are now more Christians in China than Chinese who belong to the Communist Party of China (see also: East Asia and global desecularization).[12]

Demonstrator in Tiananmen Square

The Tiananmen Square massacre fueled a big rise in Chinese interest in Christianity.[18]

Much to the dismay of militant, Chinese atheists, tanks are a very ineffective way of hinder the growth of Christianity.
