Alexander Hamilton

Federalist No. 12, authored by Alexander Hamilton under the pen name Publius, is the twelfth of 85 essays. Titled " The Utility of the Union In Respect to Revenue ", Hamilton argues that unity among the states will lead to greater wealth for all, and that the often agitated question between commerce and agriculture would be better suited as a friendship.

It was published on November 27, 1787.
