Robert Sylvester Kelly (born January 8, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois), better known by his stage name "R. Kelly", is an American singer and pedophile who has been convicted of sex offender charges. The songs he's best known for are I Believe I Can Fly (which was sung in churches), Ignition, and the Trapped in the Closet series.

Kelly had sold 75 million records worldwide before being sentenced to thirty-years for racketeering and sex trafficking.[1]
